The syllabus runs in a deliberate order, because these subjects depend on each other. Fiqh without aqeedah is procedure without reason. Seerah without context is a storybook.
Aqeedah — belief
What Muslims believe about Allah, the prophets, the angels, the books, and the hereafter — and why, not just that. Where the major theological positions differ and what the mainstream position actually is.
Taharah and Salah — purification and prayer
The rulings you use every single day. Wudu, ghusl, what invalidates them, the conditions and pillars of salah, what to do when you get it wrong. Most adults discover they've been making at least one habitual error here for years.
Seerah — the life of the Prophet ﷺ
Chronological, in context, with the reasons behind events rather than a list of dates. Makkah, the boycott, the hijrah, Madinah, the treaties, the final sermon.
Fiqh — practical rulings
Zakat, sawm, hajj, and the fiqh of everyday life: transactions, family, food. Taught with the reasoning and the school of thought made explicit, so you know where a ruling comes from rather than just receiving it.
Hadith — the prophetic tradition
How hadith are graded and why it matters. The major collections, the concept of isnad, and how to check something you've been sent on WhatsApp.
Akhlaq and adab — character
The part most syllabi treat as decoration. Sincerity, patience, truthfulness, the rights of parents and neighbours — the actual content of "I was sent to perfect good character."

Sisters often tell us the barrier was never interest — it was not wanting to ask a certain kind of question in a mixed setting, or not wanting to be on camera at 9pm with the house behind them. Both of those are solved. There's no difference in syllabus, rigour, or qualification between our male and female teachers.

If you've recently accepted Islam, you're likely being handed advice from six directions, some of it contradictory, much of it cultural rather than religious. A single scholar teaching you in sequence, who you can ask anything without judgement, is worth more than all of it. We start from zero. It is not a degree, an ijazah in the classical sense, or an accreditation from a formal institution. Anyone selling you online Islamic classes and implying otherwise is overstating it. If your goal is formal certification, tell your teacher and they'll point you toward the recognised institutions that grant it — the study you do here will prepare you for that route rather than replace it.

No. Everything is taught in clear English, with Arabic terms explained as they come up. If you later want to read classical sources directly, our Arabic Language course is the next step — but it isn't a prerequisite for this one.
Is the certificate accredited?
No. It certifies completion of our syllabus with a qualified instructor. It is not a degree or a formal accreditation. If you want recognised certification, your teacher can point you toward institutions that grant it.
Which school of thought do you teach?
Your teacher will tell you which madhhab they're teaching from and where the other schools differ on a given ruling. You're taught the reasoning, not just the conclusion, and you can request a teacher from a particular school when you book.
Are these classes suitable for reverts?
Yes, and reverts are a large share of our students. We start from foundations with no assumed knowledge. One to one means you can ask anything without an audience.
Can I request a female scholar?
Yes. Female instructors are available across all time zones we cover, with camera-off as an option. Mention it at booking.
Are classes one to one or in a group?
One to one by default, which is why your questions get answered in the moment. Ask about group options if you'd prefer peer discussion or a lower price point.
What if I miss a week?
Sessions are recorded and notes are provided, and you can pause your schedule entirely if you need to. Study over years, not weeks — pauses are expected.
How long is the course?
There's no fixed end date. The syllabus runs in levels from foundations through to advanced fiqh, tafsir, and hadith, and you progress at your own pace. Some students study for months; some continue for years.
